LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens gameplay trailer brings more Millenium Falcon footage

The Force has awakened in the LEGO universe, and TT Games is working hard to bring it to your favorite system this June. LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens was announced for every current platform last month. In typical LEGO fashion, TT Games is building on the anticipation of fans everywhere with today’s new gameplay trailer. As with last month’s announcement trailer, the Millenium Falcon makes an epic entrance and Kylo Ren’s lightsaber troubles continue.

Of course, with all the blaster battles, having a lightsaber is an unfair advantage, so Kylo will have to keep struggling to get his weapon to work. The Force Awakens brings duck and cover blaster battle gameplay to the LEGO games universe for the first time, treating some parts of the game like a shooter. When you’re not hiding for cover against storm troopers that can’t hit anything, your imagination is the limit with building puzzles. For the first time in franchise history, the same LEGO blocks can be used to build multiple items to serve different purposes as you push forward.

If that’s not enough, try taking the Millenium Falcon for a spin in arena-based battles and galaxy wide dogfights as you evade the First Order. LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens will bring Han Solo, Chewbacca, and the rest of your favorite Force Awakens characters to LEGO format when it launches on June 28 for 3DS, Vita, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii U, and PC.
