Overwatch Free Weekend May 25th to May 28th

From May 25th to May 28th, Blizzard Entertainment’s Overwatch, will be hosting yet another free weekend. The event will go Live from 11AM PDT, however for your timezone, check here

They are inviting new agents on PC, PlayStation®4, or Xbox One to join. However, for Playstation 4 players, there is one little thing. PlayStation 4 players will be able to join this free weekend without a PS Plus account. But… (which there always is) PS Plus Subscription will be required after May 28, with options available to purchase, during and after the promotion.

So what will be available to play you ask?

  • All 27 Characters will be made available.
  • 18 Maps in a variety of modes including
    • QuickPlay
    • Custom Games
    • Arcade

Players will also be able to level up, earn Loot Boxes, and unlock a variety of different customisation options for their heroes. Fun Fact… if you decide to purchase Overwatch after the the test run, YOU GET TO KEEP IT ALL!!! Just please remember to use the same Blizzard, Xbox Live, or Sony Entertainment account that you played on.

And, the timing of this event is spot on, as it coincides with the Anniversary event, which starts May 22nd. This will see all past seasonal brawls and cosmetics come say HI again. Additionally, there will also be a new death match map called Petra for players to enjoy.

Well guys, for those of you who havent tried Overwatch, now is your chance. Seize the moment, who knows, maybe you will like it after all.If not, well not a train smash.
